Rear Extension Transformation in Maghull
This project involved enhancing an existing 48m² rear extension at a semi-detached house in Maghull, with a focus on improving natural light, functionality and everyday family living.
As the extension was already in place, the works centred around the installation of a new roof with a lantern, bringing additional natural light into the stunning open-plan living space and creating a brighter, more welcoming atmosphere.
The project also included the installation of black aluminium kitchen windows and bi-fold doors, creating a modern finish while maximising natural light and providing a seamless connection between the kitchen, living space and garden.
A new downstairs toilet was also added, providing a practical and convenient facility for the household.
The existing extension was complemented by a new fully fitted kitchen and comfortable lounge area, creating a modern, open-plan space that is both stylish and functional.
To complete the transformation, the rear of the house was finished with a K-render finish, giving the exterior a clean, contemporary appearance and tying the whole extension together.
Every element was carefully considered to make the most of the existing extension while improving the overall comfort, practicality, natural light and appearance of the home.
The Development
The works began with a kitchen knock-through, opening up the layout and creating a more spacious, open-plan area that connects the kitchen and living space.
We installed a new roof to the existing extension, incorporating a new lantern in to maximise natural light and create a brighter, more inviting environment.
As part of the development, we also created a new beautiful downstairs toilet, making use of the existing space to provide a convenient facility for the home.
From the initial preparation and structural works through to the final finishes, the project was carefully managed from start to finish.
